Concrete unto coral, bone unto brine
All that will be left of this society in decline
Droughts and famine force people to move
as corporations monetize the need for water
Sea levels rising, permafrost thawing
All the while the stock market skyrockets
The ebb and flow of all things show
nothing lasts forever, you might be the first to go
Squirm in our peace, oblivious to what we breathe
Discouraged and diseased, our children will know whom to thank
Cells fused with plastics, poison in the soil
The end of it all is beyond our control
It might not matter, we wouldn’t care
We have accepted that yes, it might be better
80 percent of global pollution caused by 30 companies
In the face of it all their solution is nuclear energy
Archaic and fragile, we will be much the same

If this came through your feed, you're probably like "Way to go dumbass... You didn't have this shit already??" 😂🤣
I'll have you know I am buying this album once again (for like, what? the 4th time??) to pick up the new sick "sea blue gel" vinyl variant of this modern classic. Jfc Earache Records still knows how to grab my money, even after all these years haha. Have a feeling "Hiss" will be near the top of my Albums of the Decade list when all is said and done. What an absolute masterpiece. bcb723

Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
Aussie trio Burger Chef dish out a hearty helping of noise rock with a side of d-beat: messy, raw, and oh-so satisfying. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 20, 2022
This Australian group wraps D-beat in layers of psychedelic fuzz & squall for a howl from the depths of modern dystopia. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2018
Polish noise-crust outfit eschews the big Tragedy-esque riffs still popular with their US counterparts for scratchy claustrophobia. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 2, 2016

Shoegaze overdosing on meth and caffeine pills. Every release on Cloudrat's discography is a different flavor of insanity. This one is rocky road with a twist of antifreeze. Ghuughra
