No one recalls the first day
The exact moment shit hit the fan
Was it an acute shot into our veins
Or an echo we ignored again
Drowned out by endless feeds
of conspiratorial waste
Muffled by logical fallacies
Dulled out and eventually replaced
A mass psychosis induced by systemic cirrhosis, or,
capitalism’s failure
Its effects now never ending/everlasting (x2)
The voices whisper sweet nothings
Answers to your questions
Occam’s razor could not provide you with
An endless network to appease essentialist urges
Irrational pattern of thoughts, incorrigible to the person
Digital delusions presented as solutions
I’ve heard “solutions” before, they’re not that great a deal
Maybe you’ve asked the wrong questions, maybe should’ve read
Before presupposing facts are things that you interpret
Science, a neuroleptic demonized as a threat
“Common sense”, all rejoice
Apply bias wherever it suits you
Lula imprisoned, CIA-backed coups
Just who is conspiring against whom?

If this came through your feed, you're probably like "Way to go dumbass... You didn't have this shit already??" 😂🤣
I'll have you know I am buying this album once again (for like, what? the 4th time??) to pick up the new sick "sea blue gel" vinyl variant of this modern classic. Jfc Earache Records still knows how to grab my money, even after all these years haha. Have a feeling "Hiss" will be near the top of my Albums of the Decade list when all is said and done. What an absolute masterpiece. bcb723

Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance

This Australian group wraps D-beat in layers of psychedelic fuzz & squall for a howl from the depths of modern dystopia. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2018
Polish noise-crust outfit eschews the big Tragedy-esque riffs still popular with their US counterparts for scratchy claustrophobia. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 2, 2016

Shoegaze overdosing on meth and caffeine pills. Every release on Cloudrat's discography is a different flavor of insanity. This one is rocky road with a twist of antifreeze. Ghuughra
