From obscure corners they send the talking points
to their figureheads on strings
In silent flight throughout digital fog
Watching battle as it begins
Unchaining new civil wars
Petrifying you with their gaze
Filling minds with poison
All for a profit that’s to be made
All to divide and conquer
All to put an end to democracy
Echo chambers sound out all reason
Dog whistles easily parroted
All beside their dissonance they’ll willfully refuse
No resolve for minds so obtuse
No overthrowing governments
when they’re backed by owl parliaments
Until the day they all discover
they’re the ones shipped off to labor camps
One by one they will fall
Carcasses to the vultures circling above
One by one they will sprawl
toward the bed of comfort they relinquished for ideas that rot

If this came through your feed, you're probably like "Way to go dumbass... You didn't have this shit already??" 😂🤣
I'll have you know I am buying this album once again (for like, what? the 4th time??) to pick up the new sick "sea blue gel" vinyl variant of this modern classic. Jfc Earache Records still knows how to grab my money, even after all these years haha. Have a feeling "Hiss" will be near the top of my Albums of the Decade list when all is said and done. What an absolute masterpiece. bcb723

Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
Aussie trio Burger Chef dish out a hearty helping of noise rock with a side of d-beat: messy, raw, and oh-so satisfying. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 20, 2022
This Australian group wraps D-beat in layers of psychedelic fuzz & squall for a howl from the depths of modern dystopia. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2018
Polish noise-crust outfit eschews the big Tragedy-esque riffs still popular with their US counterparts for scratchy claustrophobia. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 2, 2016

Shoegaze overdosing on meth and caffeine pills. Every release on Cloudrat's discography is a different flavor of insanity. This one is rocky road with a twist of antifreeze. Ghuughra
